Procurement Manager | For Our Client

1. Lead on commercial activities in the procurement of high-risk/high-value contracts within the assigned business area – from end-to-end market engagement, supplier due diligence, tender, contract negotiation, and award
2. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best prices and terms of purchase
3. Manage the purchasing process and ensure that all purchases comply with company policy
4. Develop and maintain a database of preferred suppliers and vendors
5. Develop and implement the procedures and systems to ensure cost-effectively
6. Monitor and review all purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
7. Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and forecasts to anticipate future needs for materials and services
8. Prepare reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings
9. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities
10. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is a plus
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Mining/Plantation/Construction industry
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
4. Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier management
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
7. Knowledge of market trends and supply chain dynamics
8. Willingness to travel as needed for supplier meetings and industry events
9. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
